Practice before Art of Road Racing!

It’s critical to be proficient with line and pace at Thunderhill before the clinic. We have some great opportunities in the coming weeks:

1) Thunderhill has scheduled a test days on the 27th that will be perfect for practicing before Art of Road Racing. This day will be open to both licensed and unlicensed racers, so everyone will be able to attend. Check our FAQ page for details.

2) Our friends at Hooked on Driving  have created a special morning group on Saturday Jan 28th just for us. Two sessions for $100. Click here to register for it.

Thanks!

Race Craft Clinic

Thunderhill

28-29 January 2012

Open enrollment is now closed, but we might still be able to fit you in. Follow these links to learn more:

An exceptional program for licensed racers or those seeking a racing license in 2012. Whether you are an experienced racer seeking your first podium, or just starting out, this program will help you develop the skills and edge you need. Our focus is on race craft: driving in close proximity, off-line, and passing under braking. Great preparation for the SCCA licensing school in March.

You will drive in a four car sparring group comprising three students and one instructor. No passenger seats here. We believe instructors driving their own cars is a highly effective way to communicate race craft. And it allows for more directed coaching for the more advanced racer.

Your instructor will be recruited from the top of your racing class ranks. These are the guys at the pointy end of *your* grid who are coming out to help their racing community.

On Saturday Dean Thomas will lead lectures, videos, and discussions that will help you develop the critical analytical skills you need to outsmart your opponent. The successful racer is smarter as well as more skillful than their opponent.

We hope you will join us for a fun and challenging weekend that is sure to move you forward next year.

Thanks!

Juan
